08/06 REAL TALK: What's your dream?

Real Talk hit the streets of New York to find out what inspires the natives. This young lady responded by letting us know that her dream and her passion is modeling. She's sick and tired of dreaming about it though... she wants it to be a reality already. Do you think she can do it?

Better yet, do you think you can do it? What's your dream? Are you willing to put forth the effort required to make it a reality... or have you given up on it?

Keep in mind, dreams of yours that have been deferred, have only been deferred by you.

08/02 REAL TALK: Think And Do

You could spend years and years figuring out how to take three steps at once. Or you could simply take one step, and then the next, and then the next.

Being able to think things through is a tremendously valuable skill. But don't let all that thinking prevent you from doing.

Sometimes it pays to think of a more efficient or effective or faster way to complete the task. Other times you're better off when you just go ahead and do it.

Analyzing what you must do can be helpful. Yet analysis by itself won't get the job completed.

After you think it through, go ahead and get it done. Put your clever thinking into action, and you'll have something of tangible value to show for it.

Put your mind to work and you'll create great ideas. Then put those ideas to work with your efforts, and bring them successfully to life.

08/01 REAL TALK: Fresh Opportunities To Be

Appreciate your shortcomings for where they have brought you. Then release them and be free to rise above the limitations.

Savor the disappointments one last time and remember all you have learned from them. Then let them go and eagerly look forward to new and fruitful experiences.

Sincerely and completely forgive those who have brought you pain, including yourself. And feel the healing that immediately takes hold.

Be truly thankful for having been through so much. Then get busy creating the best of what can be.

Let go of the useless drama that is already over. Hold on to the positive value that you've gained from it all.

Always there are new possibilities to explore, new ways to grow, and new worlds to experience. With each new now, the world is filled with fresh opportunities to be.
